The good ol' Monster rear suspension: single adjustable Boge-Sachs rear shock. It's gotten a bad rap as an underperformer, but it is still a quality piece with much better adjustment than many other sportbike shocks allow. Then again, why wouldn't it? It's a Ducati.
Perhaps the most important part of getting any kind of accurate readings is to have the front end balanced. You can have somebody hold the bike every time you need to measure, but it's better to save them for the loaded sag measurements. To balance the front, I used two tie down straps from the bars to the anchors in my garage floor. Before tightening them down, I took a zip tie and wrapped it around the grip and brake lever to keep it from rolling. Then I tightened the straps and ta-da! It was held there like magic.

The FLEDA System come with a one year parts & labor warranty. Also the FLEDA System has a 30 day money back, “no questions asked” return policy. You pay only for the shipping back to PAK BIKES.
The FLEDA and license plate bracket assemblies are NOT DOT approved and are for “off road” and “SHOW” use only. Purchaser assumes ALL responsibility for the proper installation of these systems. Improper installation of the FLEDA and license plate bracket assemblies can lead to serious injury or death to rider and/or their passenger and/or to other persons in the vicinity of a motorcycle equipped with a FLEDA and License plate bracket assembly. DUCATI MULTISTRADA 1000DS Owner's Manual
This function indicates how far the vehicle can travel using the fuel left in the tank. When this display function is not selected, the display automatically switches to "Range" indication as soon as the LOW FUEL LIGHT (10, fig. 5) comes on and the display shows a string of dashes "- - . -" and the indication for 10 seconds. Range indication is then turned on automatically every 60 seconds while the low fuel light stays on. When the vehicle is stopped, either with the engine off or running, the last value stored is displayed until indication is refreshed.
Note
The value is refreshed every10 seconds, the tolerance is 0.5 km.
"Digital fuel level" indication

INSTALLING THE RADIO GEAR Skip if already assembled in RTR version
a. Install the receiver switch onto the servo mount beside the steering servo with 2 tap screws.
b. Install the steering servo onto the servo mount with four tap screws. (Note the output shaft should be centered between the chassis frames.)
c. Install the throttle servo onto the servo mount with 4 tap screws. The mounting position is shown in this manual.
d. Install the receiver above the space between two frame posts using supplied double-sided tape.
e. Install the receiver battery pack on the bottom of the chassis. Then secure the battery pack with large zip tie.
f. Ensure all wires are securely connected to the receiver: steering servo connector plug - into the channel 1 slot throttle servo connector plug - into the channel 2 slot battery switch connector plug - into battery slot. Then thread the receiver antenna/wire through the antenna mount.
g. Thread the receiver antenna/wire all the way through the antenna tube and install the antenna tube onto the mount. Place the supplies antenna tip over the top of the antenna tube to secure the antenna/wire.
h. Then, use a small cable-tie or zip tie to organize the excess wiring from any high temperature or moving parts.

When the ignition key is turned to OFF, the immobilizer inhibits engine operation. When the ignition key is turned back to ON to start the engine, the following happens:
1) if the CPU recognised the code, the CODE light on the instrument panel will flash briefly. This means that the immobilizer system has recognised the key code and enabled engine ignition. When you press the START button, the engine will start up.
2) If the CODE light stays on, it means that the code has not been recognised. When this is the case, turn the ignition key back to OFF and then to ON again. If the engine still does not start, try with another black key. If the other key does not work out either, contact the DUCATI Service network.
Warning
The keys accommodate electronic components inside. If dropped or hit, they might damage. Duplicate keys If you need any duplicate keys, contact the DUCATI Service network with all the keys you have left and your
CODE CARD.
DUCATI Service will program new keys and re-program your original keys, up to 8 keys in total. You may be asked to identify yourself as the legitimate owner of the motorcycle. Be sure have any documents you might need to this end ready. The codes of any keys not submitted will be wiped off from the memory to make those keys unserviceable in case they have been lost.
Note
If you sell your motorcycle, do not forget to give all keys and the CODE CARD to the new owner.

Mike Hailwood drove kids like me mad by winning on a Ducati 900 at the 1978 TT and we’re the adults who desire these bikes today. The 900SS is a single-minded sportster that still stirs emotions, some of which don’t have a name.
The 900SS I’m riding is not as perfectly pretty as the earlier solo-seated, wire wheeled models, but it’s still long and lithe in glitzy black and gold paint. It’s all so 1978, like a flashy footballer’s bathroom. The lines and proportions of the classic Ducati half-sports fairing, clip-ons and long, stretched tank are sensational. The square engine cases, uglier sisters to the earlier and sought after round-case 750 motors, still manage to sit well with the smooth curves that make up the rest of the bike.
John Fallon of Mdina Italia, who lent us this original early Speedline cast wheel 900SS, reckons the bike’s been repainted, but the motor is unrestored (although a Lucas Rita electronic ignition has been fitted at some point). If that’s the case, it was well put together in Borgo Panigale, Bologna, all those years ago, as I’m about to discover.

Redpoint Racing - Ducati Monster Relocation Bracket Installation Manual
The relocation bracket is designed to fit all Ducati Monsters within the year ranges of 2000-2004. It may fit other years as well, but I cannot guarantee an exact fit as minor changes have been done throughout the years. The bracket is designed to replace the stock tail light/turn signal/license plate assembly and the rearmost section of the frame on which the stock assembly mounts. It is assumed that the sub frame has already been removed.
Warning: Cutting or modifying the frame in any way may cause damage to the motorcycle and affect the performance and/or safety. I do not condone or endorse the cutting of the frame or the installation of non-stock components on the motorcycle which may be in violation of local or state laws. Please check with your local authorities as to the legality of installing these components before proceeding.
Parts
The relocation bracket comes with three pieces which should be assembled as desired prior to installation on the bike. The turn signal bracket and the tail light bracket are separate as to allow the maximum amount of flexibility in the setup for your bike. If you have integrated turn signals or tail lights, you can leave off the parts that are unnecessary to further clean up the appearance of the bike after installation.
Assembly
Assemble the parts as shown below with the main bracket on the bottom, then the turn signal bracket, and then the tail light bracket. Screw them together with the provided button head allen screws and nylon insert lock nuts. Insert the screws through the bottom and attach the nuts on top of the bracket to maintain a clean look from the bottom of the bracket.

Nemesis Engine Control for Ducati Firmware update manual
There is absolutely no reason why this software upgrade cannot be applied to an older specification Nemesis without the 003 hardware changes. The 003 hardware change ONLY relates to the air valve control for 1098, for this reason you may use this software with older level hardware on any 749 or 999 without problem
Within this release there are the following improvements:
• Idle air valve software
• 2D graphical map editing in X and Y axis
• Interpolation editing allows you to map a minimal number of cells and then interpolate between them to fill in other cell values.
• When in Auto or Manual tune process you can manually make changes to the cell values which are written directly to the Nemesis
• Re-set buttons added to switch input count and max RPM
Within this release there are the following bug-fix
• Latched max RPM value stored as 65536 – Fixed
