known as the “Pearl of East Africa”. It is a beautiful, green country that has enjoyed relative political stability compared to its neighboring countries. Uganda is landlocked with the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to the west, Sudan to the north, Kenya to the east, and Rwanda and Tanzania to the south. Uganda was a former British colony that gained independence in 1962. Unfortunately Uganda is most infamous for the notoriously bloody reign of Idi Amin from 1972-9. President Museveni overthrew Milton Obote’s regime after Amin and has since led Uganda under a one-party rule. In July 2006, Uganda will have its first multiparty elections in the history of the country. Uganda is for the most part safe to travel. However, precaution is always necessary as a visitor in a foreign country. Northern Uganda still suffers from a 20-year war led by an insurgency group called the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA). Over 1 million people have been internally displaced by the continued fighting and many of the northern districts including Gulu, Kitgum, Pader, and Lira which are still considered dangerous to travel. It is to be used as a resource and informational tool for traveling State of Illinois employees. The guide has been designed to provide employees with the information

necessary to make their travels as problem-free, safe, and as economical as possible. The current travel rules for both the Travel Regulation Council and the Governor’s Travel Control Board are printed in the guide and are to be followed by all agencies and employees under the jurisdiction of the Governor’s Travel Control Board. The Travel Guide includes the Fiscal Year 2011 Preferred Hotel Listing, information regarding car rental, as well as information on the Bank of America State of Illinois Travel Charge Card program, travel safety, Amtrak, etc. The Governor’s Travel Control Board has negotiated a number of discounted agreements with travel vendors. It is important that agencies and employees take advantage of these agreements. Their use will not only help to save the State travel dollars, but will also enhance our ability to receive discounts in the future. April 2011 (version 1.4) - 2 - General information Visiting Ostia is like visiting Tivoli and Hadrian's villa: a relaxing trip, that takes you away from the noise and incessant police-sirens of Rome. Reserve a whole day for your visit - not just to relax, but also because Ostia deserves it. The site is quite big, so don’t spend too much

time visiting the first buildings you encounter. What to wear Dress "onion-skin" style, that is using layers that can be removed. Ostia Antica is fairly close to the sea, but it can also be quite hot in the ruins even on a cloudy day. Fine hot weather is generally guaranteed from mid-May to late September. Extra-comfortable shoes! And a sun hat! How to get there The best way to reach Ostia is by using the metro. Trains leave at station Piramide. Get off the regular metro at Piramide, go up the escalator, turn immediately left and down the steps into the Roma-Lido station. A normal metro ticket will suffice for the entire journey. Get out at the stop Ostia Antica. Next cross the highway using the pedestrian bridge. To reach the site from the pedestrian bridge, keep walking straight ahead, cross a busy road (please be careful!) and after 100 metres turn left to get to the entrance (two minutes). If you arrive by car, you can use a parking lot in front of the entrance of the excavations. Food and drink, money Outside the station is a small bar. Do we need radiation cautionary signs in all of these rooms? Are there

specific wording and color requirements for the signs? Answer: With the deployment of digital dental radiography in all Air Force Radiation Symbol clinics, many facilities are decentralizing radiology by installing intraoral tubeheads in dental operatories. Before these recent installations, many clinics used a central radiology room for the majority of their x-ray exposures. Often the central radiology room is lead-lined and has a specific lead-lined barrier or booth that the x-ray technician stands behind while exposing radiographs. Usually, the technician closes the door while exposing radiographs and at a minimum, a sign such as, “Please knock before entering, X-ray Room”, is posted on the door or near the entrance to the room. Some clinics may even have the official standard radiation symbol posted to caution staff and patients. Another sign that has commonly been posted in dental waiting rooms and/or centralized radiology rooms is a sign requesting women to notify the dental staff if they may be pregnant. Brunn University of Kentucky, USA Abstract: Social science research on the struggles of early and contemporary independent African-American travel agents represents a void in the literature. These agents experienced serious

obstacles to survival during the past half-century, not only during times of racial segregation, but more recently with airlines and government regulations, expensive techno- logical innovations, and significant industry demands. Six agents describe their histories, successes and failures, and the futures of independent Black travel agents; serious difficulties remain, including access to capital. A scenario identifies the start-up costs for an independent Black travel agency in a medium-sized Middle West metropolitan area to illustrate the prob- lems that remain. Radiology Information System (RIS) The Radiology module is an electronic web-based application designed with high flexibility and ease of usage, implemented in single clinics and polyclinics. RIS is a complete management system that handles all the business functions from patient management, diagnosis and reporting, to inventory control. RIS makes information immediate, easy to access, easy to update, and always available for those who need to know. It has been made up of integrated set of functions that consolidate the medical

center’s information base. Radiology helps managing the administrative and operational functions regarding radiology. Functions provided include order request, registration, examination, results reporting, work list preparation, results approval, appointment scheduling, and management system. It keeps track of all the consumed items during any radiology procedure. Radiology system is designed and written specifically for the radiology provider to take advantage of full integration with the medical center health information system. Objectives The radiology module is a means for E-health care that facilitates management of the workflow of radiology services and equipment, in addition to supporting entry of work records and reports. The ultimate objective is to store all Patient images, scans, and ECG graphs on the System or as electronic files due to its integration with PACS, thus eliminating the unnecessary retrieval and dissemination of film. Only eligible people with access permittance are consent to access the system thereby to maintain confidentiality of patients’ films. Testing for Security in the Age of Ajax Programming Bryan Sullivan Ajax programming is one of the most exciting new technologies in recent history. Ajax (Asynchronous Javascript and XML) allows a web page to refresh a small portion of its data from a web server, rather than being forced to reload and redraw the entire page as in traditional web programming. Since they can make frequent, small updates, web applications written with Ajax programming can present user interfaces that are

more like desktop applications, which are more natural and intuitive interfaces for most users. However, just like Uncle Ben said to Peter Parker (aka Spider-Man™) 1 , with great power comes great responsibility. Web applications have become prime targets for malicious users and hackers performing SQL injection and similar attacks. The flexibility and creativity that Ajax programming affords the developer also places a corresponding burden on him to ensure that his code is secure against these new threats. Also, since delivering a secure application is part of delivering a quality application, the burden is probably felt even greater by the Quality Assurance (QA) team. The QA team will now need to develop an entirely new set of functional, performance and security testing methods in order to thoroughly test the quality of applications using Ajax programming against SQL injection attacks and other security concerns.
