INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS Choose the mounting location carefully, observing the following - The unit is not subject to temperatures exceeding 55 C (Such as in a car parked in direct sunlight) - The unit is not subject to direct sunlight. - The unit is not near heat sources (such as heaters). - The unit is not exposed to rain or moisture. - The unit is not exposed to excessive dust or dirt. - The unit is not subject to excessive vibration. WARRANTY - This product is covered by a 12month warranty valid from the date of purchase - The adapter and lead will be replaced free of charge if failure is due to a manufacturing defect. - The adapter must have been fitted as per the installation instructions. - The unit must be returned to your supplier for any claim under the terms of this warranty. - This does not affect

your statutory rights. INSTRUCTIONS OPEL DISPLAY DRIVER AND STALK ADAPTER Fitting instructions for DOPS001, DOPS002, DOPS003, DOPS004 & DOPS005 TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE (1) The display does not show the radio information. - Check the uni-link plug is fitted to the rear socket of the radio. - Check the 14pin plug is installed into the adapter. - Check the connections to the adapter and car stereo - Consult your supplying dealer. - Check that the connection to the radio remote power has been made (Step 5) - Reset the stereo using the recessed front panel button (see user manual) - Consult your supplying dealer. (2) The steering wheel controls do not operate the radio. - Check that the 3.5mm jack plug is fitted into the 3.5mm socket of the radio. - Check the correct fitting of the 14pin plug to the adapter. - Check for broken or loose wiring within the supplied harness. - Reset the stereo using the recessed front panel button (see user manual) (3) The radio does not operate after installation. - Check all connections are pushed fully into the rear terminal block on the car stereo. - Check that there are no broken pins on the lead...
