of radiology technologistPractising the Profession resPonsibilities and conditions for Practising the Profession The practice of medical imaging technology and radiation oncology consists in using ionizing radiation, radioelements and other forms of energy for treatment or to produce images or data for diag- nostic or therapeutic purposes. The activities set out in Appendix 1 are reserved for radiology technologists in the practice of their profession. The training of radiology technologists abroad is usu- ally more general in nature. They subsequently acquire a specialization in the workplace in one of the three disciplines practised in Québec.
